　　　　CCTV News (midnight news): In March, 2009, Xu Gengrong, an 18-year-old high school student in Danfeng County, Shaanxi Province, died suddenly while being interrogated by the police in the Public Security Bureau. There were different opinions about his death in the society, and our reporter also conducted an investigation.

　　　　On the morning of February 10th this year, a woman’s body was found by a man doing morning exercises on the bank of Danjiang River in Danfeng County, Shaanxi Province. The police found out that the victim’s name was Peng Lina, a high school student. The local public security organs quickly set up a task force to investigate the case.

　　　　The task force focused on the villagers Peng Lina might know. They asked hundreds of Siping boys studying in Danfeng County and took blood samples. Among the many students investigated by the police, Xu Gengrong, a boy from Siping Town and a senior three student in Danfeng Middle School, was concerned by the investigators.

　　　　On March 2, Xu Gengrong’s mother, Cao Huiling, rushed back to Danfeng from the place where she worked in Xi ‘an, and went to the police station and public security bureau to inquire about her son.

　　　　It was not until March 4th that she learned from a policeman that Xu Gengrong was taken to the Public Security Bureau.

　　　　However, on March 8th, Xu Gengrong’s parents waited for the news of their son’s sudden death on the 8th day after his son was taken away by the police.

　　　　Director of Danfeng County Government Office: At 10: 30 am on March 8, the case handlers found that Xu Gengrong was yellow, had difficulty breathing and drooling. He was immediately sent to Danfeng County Hospital for treatment and died in the process of being sent to the hospital for treatment.

　　　　On the afternoon of March 9th, in addition to two forensic doctors from procuratorial organs, there was also a photographer, a videographer and three non-immediate relatives of Xu Gengrong. Autopsy reports have since become the key to the truth.
