According to the white paper, fixed broadband and mobile traffic charges have dropped by more than 90% in the three years since the implementation of network speed-up and fee reduction.
The results of network speed measurement conducted by international organizations through professional software show that in July 2018, China’s fixed broadband download rate ranked 19th among 133 countries in the world, and China’s mobile broadband download rate ranked 37th in the world.

Compared with our global average of 6.8%, our total traffic expenditure is actually relatively low.
Liu Duo said that China has entered the fiber-optic era in an all-round way, with 87% of fiber-optic broadband users and 82% of fixed broadband households, thus achieving the development goal of the 13th Five-Year Plan ahead of schedule. The proportion of optical fiber users and the penetration rate of 4G users are among the highest in the world.

In the past three years, the network speed-up and fee reduction work has been carried out, and the accumulated fee reduction has benefited more than 130 billion yuan.
