Yibin City, Sichuan Province is the route of the Long March of the Central Red Army and the main activity place of the guerrilla column in southern Sichuan. The story of the guerrilla column in southern Sichuan is rarely mentioned in China’s military history and military film and television works, and the film "Alone Army" fills the image gap in this history. This is the first time that the heroic epic of the guerrilla column in southern Sichuan of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army has been put on the screen, showing the heroic years of the guerrilla column in southern Sichuan of the Red Army in Yibin in the form of movies. This film will be released nationwide on December 28th, 2023.

The film is directed by the creative team of the excellent film The Believer, written by Liu Jianwei, the original director of Bayi Film Studio, a famous writer, playwright and winner of Mao Dun Literature Award, the winner of Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China’s "Five One Project Award" and China Watch Award, the directors of Believers, Liu Laozhuang’s Eighty-two Brave Man, Three Bay Adaptation and other films, directed by yang hu, the first-class director of Bayi Film Studio, and Liu Zhihuan, the former deputy director of Bayi Film Studio.
Yibin is a tourist resort that inherits the red genes and continues the red veins. Especially during the Anti-Japanese War, together with Chongqing, Chengdu and Kunming, it was called "China’s Four Cultural Centers of Anti-Japanese War" and made outstanding contributions to the final victory of War of Resistance against Japan. When the precious memories hidden in the depths of history re-bloomed after a hundred years, the audience at Yibin’s movie scene expressed great emotion.

In the past, I felt that this person was stuck in the target, in the textbook and in the explanation, but after watching the movie today, these people came alive. For me, I will integrate my personal feelings, including the actor’s interpretation of the characters in this film, into my future work, because only three-dimensional characters will be touching.
